A clear example of how the characteristics of vines blend to perfection with
the territory can be found in the isle of Sardinia.
It is in fact thanks to the
particular geographical position and to the micro-climate of the island that this
land produces wines with very personal and unique characteristics that cannot
be found anywhere else.
In recent years the island's vine growers have gone
into high quality through experiments in the vineyards and investments in the
winery, and have improved, and often greatly enhanced, the typical fruit of
their vines to produce great wines like Cannonau and Vermentino.
