The wines from the Pugglia region have regained the reputation they well deserve on
account of their quality.
Its vine growers are now getting the reward for having worked
so hard and quietly of recent times: an undertaking aimed at achieving quality in the
vineyards through innovative experiments, and in the wineries through very refined
wine making techniques.
A territory which sinks deep roots in important historical events and legendary tales
has also helped: a clear demonstration of the intimate connection
between vine groving and cultural evolution.
Love of its inhabitants for
their land remains, however, the fundamental element of their success.
