“Terre Bentivoglio Estate”

The word “Terre” (in English “land”) highlights the extent of the estate with its vineyards and the respect for those places which aren’t yet compromised by the most invasive human activity, but they remain what they naturally are: Terre. The second part of the name “Bentivoglio” refers to the sincere love for the land and for the winegrowers which cherish the fruits of their work and therefore, they ensure to produce wine which meets high quality standards.

The farm Terre Bentivoglio extends for 90 hectares in the hills of the Oltrepo Pavese, in the municipality of Santa Giuletta, at the border between Broni and Casteggio, whose land, owned by Marquis Isimbardi of Pavia, was bought by Pirovano family. The landscape of this ancient territory is characterised by numerous vines which the sun lights up and turns them into golden hills.

They are the most precious heritage of the farm Terre Bentivoglio, which was achieved thanks to the passionate work and the great love that connects Pirovano family to this land. The excellent exposition and compounding of the ground enable the cultivation of Barbera, Bonarda and Pinot Nero perfectly. After the harvest, the most advanced winemaking techniques provide the best personality and excellence to wine.
